1. Information CozyCove Does Not Purposely Collect
CozyCove does not purposely collect personal data from users. We only intend to use information when it is needed for a feature you choose to use, such as account access, partner connection, shared memories, map pins, calendar availability, app permissions, pet activity, heart nudges, compass preferences, support requests, or feedback.
2. Information Collected Automatically
CozyCove may collect basic technical and usage information such as device type, browser or app version, approximate timestamps, pages or screens viewed, feature interactions, crash reports, diagnostic logs, and similar analytics used to keep the service stable and useful.
3. How We Use Information
We use user data to provide CozyCove features, connect partners who choose to share a cove, personalize the app experience, save memories and preferences, process support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot bugs, understand feature performance, and comply with applicable law.
4. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers that help operate CozyCove, such as hosting, databases, authentication, analytics, storage, email, or notification services. We may also share information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or with your consent.
5. Calendar, Location, Photos, and Notifications
Some CozyCove features may request access to calendars, location, photos, or notifications. These permissions should only be used to provide the feature you enabled, such as finding shared free time, showing partner direction, saving memories, or sending heart nudge alerts. You can manage permissions through your device or app settings.
6. Children and Sensitive Information
CozyCove is not intended for children under 13. Users should not use CozyCove to store emergency, medical, financial, legal, or highly sensitive information unless the app clearly explains that the feature is designed for that purpose.
7. Data Requests and Contact
You may request that CozyCove delete your personal information at any time. For deletion, access, correction, export, or other privacy questions, contact CozyCove at yuuzihang@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and a limited amount of data may be retained only when required for security, legal, or service operations.
